  In her death record she's listed at 48 which puts her birth about 1837 in Ontario. This also lists her parents last names as Miles. In the 1881 Anderdon Twp. Essex County, Ontario Census she lists her age as 41 and her birthplace as Ontario. This census was taken in April, 1881. In the 1861 Anderdon Twp. Essex County, Ontario Census she lists her age as 24 making her birth year 1837 or so. The spelling here is not confirmed. She shows up in various records as Harriet, Harriette and Harriot as well. Both Thomas and Walter list her name as 'Hattie' that's probably what she went by.
